For almost 30 years we have been running long lunches as a way of connecting with you in your city...and we love it. 

We are so excited to be heading back to Daughter In Law for our annual Melbourne long lunch on Saturday July 18th, 2026.

Last year was our first lunch pairing our wines with Indian cuisine.  We were excited to try something different and you were too, as this lunch sold out in a matter of hours.  We cannot wait to taste what the team at Daughter In Law have created for this year's lunch.

As always, and in true Pfeiffer pfashion we have planned a wonderful afternoon filled with pfine wine, pfine pfood and pfabulous pfolk - YOU!  

Daughter In Law Chef and Owner Jessi Singh has been at the forefront of fine Indian dining for years.  He established Horn Please and Babu Ji in Melbourne, and Dhaba at the Mill in Kyneton, before opening Babu Ji in New York in 2014, and Bibi Ji in Santa Barbara.  Upon his return to Australia, he opened Don't Tell Aunty in Sydney in 2018, before Daughter In Law in his hometown of Melbourne in 2019.  In 2025 a second Daughter In Law opened in South Yarra - please note, our lunch will be held at Daughter In Law in the CBD.  

Daughter In Law is colourful and fun, blending the flavours of Indian cuisine with local ingredients and new cooking techniques.
